yeah i'm still busy with my exams, i got barely any work done in the past few days, and it will probably only get worse from now on, or not. Anyway, sorry for the shortest log yet! Hopefully i will get more material by the next dewslog

Anyway, i wanna try to post more about my current projects and stuff, so, this is what these blogs are gonna be about.

I don't want to reveal too much right now, buuut, if you have an original character, or like sonas, or your friends have one, GIVE ME THEIR PICTURE, or, better yet, a reference sheet or whatever, I'm currently making a list.

YES, the bean eating sim for the NES is still in dev!

i got stuck on rendering backgrounds, but i'll figure it out

yeah, i just want to quickly post about my ongoing projects, i'll probably do that more in the future,

i had less time to work on my personal stuff lately unfortunately, so the fate of all shown projects is undetermined, but i hope i'll finish at least some of them.

anyway, see you in two weeks!

Current features:

• "menu" and game screens, menu screen is basically nothing
• slidin while moving, also speed dampening
• boundaries collisions
• bean kissing detections
• pseudo-random bean placement

Things yet to be done:

• sounds
• music
• better graphics
• text and bean counter
• tests on the actual hardware (this is a NES game, i am planning on releasing this as a standalone rom and, if i manage this, a web build, but for physical versions you would probably need flashcarts or like everdrive idk)
• (also, if you have and actual nes, famicom, dendy, or famiclones with ability to load custom roms please hit me you are gonna get ur name into this thing lol)

Yet another bugfix update lol

• Fixed wrong text load for Triothy (i'm so sorry i found this bug just now Atreyu)
• Fixed leftover text in the credits
• Updated the credits with a few new names

MINOR GAME UPDATE:

Fixed:

• Josh first person display showed debug sprite which covered small portion of the screen, now it's not visible
• The game now correctly resets itself upon reaching the credits, before you would enter the last level if you watched credits and started a new run

Changed:

• Credits scroll speed is now faster
• Game is now officially version 0.9.2

Added:

• Version number at the main menu
• SalmonGamer reference
• A wanted poster for FlutterBug

Both PC and Web Versions have been updated! currently no plans on porting Web Build to itch sadly.

he was supposed to look more steam punk-robot like, but later chnaged to look more like those protogen bots

I'm learning assembly, for the nes.

it's awful, but i've managed to make a simple sprite move!

this mkight be my next project, eat bean port for the actual nes!
